Shadow Theatre Fireflies in Bryansk
In November 2010, on the basis of the Chernihiv National Technological University the team of creative students was formed for the participation in the “We are together” festival which usually takes place in Bryansk. And that was the first step of the shadow theatre “Fireflies”.
The students, both males and females, having been armed with thousand-year experience of the Chinese art of the play of light and shadow and having been inspired by a modern Internet phenomenon of creation of various images in a shadow by means of plasticity of a body, showed an original play about the dream of the girl to sing on a big stage.
The jury of the competition estimated the performance of the shadow play from Ukraine on an equal basis with the representatives of the higher education institutions of Russia, Belarus and Transnistria. The Fireflies team was awarded with the festival Grand Prix for the creative experiment.
